Service Description
Kingsbury Manor provides a social care service for people of Asian origin with a severe and enduring mental health problem, as part of Brent Mental Health Service / Community Networks Service. Brent Mental Health Service is an integrated health and social care service, in a partnership between Brent Council and Central and North West London Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust.

The aim is to support service users to access mainstream community activities and lead more independent lives by accessing range of development activities which contribute to the further development of a socially inclusive service model

Support available include:

  • Support to decrease reliance on mental health services
  • Support to access local sports and leisure activities
  • Support to access faith and cultural opportunities
  • Support to access mainstream education courses
  • Support to access volunteering / paid employment  opportunities
  • Support to develop positive new relationships/friendships, strengthen existing relationships with family or friends
  • Support to involve in decision making by accessing self directed support
  • Counselling Service: We provide culturally sensitive counselling service for the Asian community in English, Gujarati, Hindi, Urdu language
